Dinner is served

I decided to skip appetiser and head straight to the main course before I had my movie marathon on my 12 hour long flight.

Here's angus grilled beef, portabello mushroom and pate de foie gras burger served with a side of chips in the background.

Wow! That is some sandwich! I doubt I could finish that. I've never had pate de foie gras, dare I ask what it is? I think I have some idea but I'm sure I'm wrong.

@Laurie: haha i didnt finish it either. pate de foie gras, also known as foie gras is goose liver. some people say it's cruel because the geese are pumped and brutally killed in the process so that the fatty liver can be obtained. read more about it here.

Hahaha the point wasn't in my ability to whip up something of this delectable a nature...but rather of my not having the opportunity to it on A PLANE! =D

But I was talking about this to someone the other day....I really like economy class food...I love how they come in tiny rectangular trays and with neatly fitting smaller dish-bowels and tiny packaged cups of water/juice. I probably should've remained a kid in playskool =)

ah yes i know what you mean. i was just on cattleclass yesterday and the food's all nicely arranged in mini dishes all fitted to the size of the tray.
