Autumn

Autumn's here. Well sorta. Global warming has cause the already erratic weather in Melbourne to be more erratic.

It's been getting a bit colder. But on some days, the sun's shining like there's no tomorrow.

Oh, and this was taken in Japan a few years ago when I was there on a family vacation trip. I wasnt that much into photography then, considering I was still a small girl.

I realise once I got hooked to photography, I'm always on the constant lookout for things to capture. Things which I may never see again.

I love the colours of the leaves in autumn. The spectrum of greens, browns, reds and yellows.

Simply beautiful.

Lovely fall colors.

We've had the opposite here in about 2/3's of the country the past couple of months. Spring warmth has been very late to arrive. The past 2 months have been colder that normal including rare snow and ice storms very late in the season. Everything has been so late to bloom and only this weekend did more normal warm temps finally arrive causing everything to burst forth in bloom all at once. Pretty wild, except my allergies are not liking it. One problem that was caused by the extended winter here was the the orchards in my state and surrounding states were very worried about damage from very late freezes.
